Day 30 - September 8, 2009 - 236 lbs.

Pretty weak workout today.  Went early this morning, which I think was too soon from last night’s workout.  I don’t think my body adequately recovered from yesterday.  As a result, I took it pretty easy in the gym.  Between my sunburn and my fatigue from last night, I didn’t have much energy today.

Day 19 - August 28, 2009 - 245 lbs.

I relaxed my diet for the first time in 3 weeks and ate a lot of food today. I have gained a pound and probably set myself back by a day or two, but I really needed to get more calories in me today. Also, I didn’t work out, which also hurt.

Day 5 - August 14, 2009 - 253 lbs.

Good workout day today.  I used an elliptical machine for the first time and I think that is one of the most effective pieces of exercise equipment for burning calories and working up a sweat — far better than the stationary cycle or treadmill.
