I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed at the weight loss progress in the past 8 days. It has virtually come to a stand-still. I cheated quite a bit last week and I believe my body went into “survival” mode and stored a lot of the non-healthy and fatty stuff I ate, contributing to my slowed weight loss progress.
I anticipate things will pick up again in the coming days as I will be really buckling down.
This past week was the hardest for me and there were times that I wanted to pull down this blog and quit. I did not let those thoughts get the best of me and I know there are people following me who I do not want to let down. Most of all, I don’t want to let down myself. I will keep pressing forward and try to still reach my goal as I still feel it is very attainable.

Today’s Diet:
Breakfast - Almonds and Oats Cereal with Fat Free Milk
Snack - Ruby Reds Nutritional Supplement
Lunch - Sushi (5 California Rolls)
Snack - 2 Hard Boiled Eggs
Dinner - Turkey Cobb Salad with Light Honey Mustard Dressing
Lots of Water.

Take a good look at your before picture vs your picture from yesterday - that should be all the motivation that you need to stay pumped about what you are doing. It is already a terrific transformation - anything additional is icing on the cake. Giving in isn’t an option - there is nowhere to go but forward because you never want to go back to what you were before starting, and that means that eating right, and exercising (lifestyle change) is now who you are - not the old person that was fat and lazy.
